Expected salary range of $83,700 to $93,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position will require completing all aspects of 3D scanning from field data collection to developing point cloud end deliverables using a variety of software. Projects will consist of but are not limited to: mapping plant settings/rooms/infrastructures (indoor and outdoor), dimensional measurements, alignments and reverse engineering support. Individual will work collaboratively with Project Lead and engage with customer as necessary to ensure client deliverables meet expectations and are completed to the highest level of detail and accuracy according to company defined quality standards. Travel: Up to 75% to client locations, primarily in Mid-Atlantic and Mid-West regions.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- 1 Perform data collection utilizing a variety of 3D survey instruments. Review data to ensure all information is collected as required to meet customer needs. 30
- 2 Perform data processing. Maintain good notes to ensure data is of highest quality and communicate need for clarity, excellence, and lessons learned. Ensure data is handled appropriately. 30
- Interface with customers to address any issues appropriately and coordinate site visits to execute data collection.
- Define project scope with customer. Prepare estimates for jobs. Provide status updates on jobs as requested to customer and leadership.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- Training and mentoring of others on team on data collection and data processing. Provide team feedback as necessary to grow and develop.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or STEM disciplines (Land Surveying & Mapping, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Civil, Mechanical or Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or similar STEM field) and 2 years' experience - -OR- - Associates Degree and 4 years of experience - OR- - High School Diploma and 6 years' experience - Proficient with Office Applications. - Ability to gain unescorted nuclear access - Ability to stoop, crawl, and bend at knees and waist. Lift up to 50 lbs. - Good verbal and written communication - Developed problem solving and analytical skills. Detail oriented - Ability to work independently / self-starter.
