Job Summary:
As a Mechanical Engineer in our Nuclear Plant Operations team, you will perform advanced technical problem-solving in support of nuclear plant operations, focusing on High Pressure and Low Pressure Turbines, Generators, and associated auxiliaries. You will provide technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and administrative oversight of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) organizations for Large Capital projects associated with Turbines and Generators.
- Attend OEM meetings at vendor sites, participate in Factory acceptance tests to ensure vendors deliver equipment as promised.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
- Perform engineering tasks such as Engineering Changes, Calculations, Specifications, Technical Evaluations, white papers as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a minimum 2 years Nuclear experience or related engineering experience.
- For Senior E03 Engineer: S. in Engineering, a minimum 5 years Nuclear experience or related engineering experience.
- Professional Engineering Registration, advanced technical degree or coursework.
