The expected salary range for this role is $106,200 to $118,000, commensurate with experience, accompanied by a full benefits package including bonuses and 401(k) contributions.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Nuclear Operations Trainer is responsible for demonstrating expert skills and extensive knowledge in developing, implementing, and refining plant-specific nuclear operations training programs.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Enhance station and personnel performance through effective training programs. Coordinate and deliver performance-based operations training as required, following Constellation's TSD model and departmental procedures.
- Ensure training materials are up to date, incorporating insights from INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, regulatory changes, and training effectiveness assessments.
- Design and administer trainee evaluations for various training environments including classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator settings, providing counseling sessions and tailored training recommendations based on evaluations.
- Support various business initiatives, project management efforts, refuel outages, and other special assignments as required.
- Participate in audits by NRC and INPO, effectively preparing and addressing audit findings.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of plant operations and necessary skills to create and conduct high-quality training programs.
- Oversee the accurate collection and maintenance of training records and reports to document program activities effectively.
