Job Description
This position plays a critical role in driving station and personnel performance improvement through the use of training. The Operations Training Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and conducting performance-based operations RO/NLO training programs, ensuring they are maintained current and incorporate relevant information from various sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct effective training programs that align with Constellation's TSD model and department procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills, and techniques to develop high-quality training.
- Supervise the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports.
- Participate in NRC, INPO, and management audits, preparing responses to audit findings.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet one of the following minimum qualifications:
- An Associate's degree in science/engineering or education/training, along with 4 years of related industry experience/technical background OR 6 years of related industry experience/technical background OR a Bachelor's degree in education/training, with 2 years of teaching experience.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or education/training and 6 years of commercial nuclear power plant training experience.
Salary : $105,300 - $145,000
