Expected salary range of $80,100 to $89,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Physical Security Systems Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the security and resilience of critical infrastructure at Constellation Energy by contributing to the development, implementation, and maintenance of security access management and monitoring systems, overseeing project activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role is tasked with ensuring adherence to regulatory security standards, including FERC, NERC CIP, Maritime, DOT, and others. The role also involves supporting security software project related activities, including requirements gathering, scoping, design, execution, and troubleshooting, while working closely with stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline. Additionally, this role will support strategic growth and innovation to include the use of AI technology to strengthen the security of our assets. To be successful, the candidate should have strong security software skills, to include experience configuration management and disaster recovery.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support and maintain an integrated physical security system compliant with Constellation physical security standards to effectively protect critical infrastructure assets.
- Collaborate with business units to identify critical assets, conduct vulnerability assessments, and provide operational security recommendations.
- Support the development and operation of the company's physical security program
- Serve as a contact for system failure, hardware and software support for the Security Operation Center
- Support the implementation of integrated, cost-efficient, physical security systems (CCTV, Command Center, Intrusion Detection & Alarm Systems, Access Control, etc.).
- Ensure compliance through vulnerability assessments and assurance audits with appropriate regulatory agencies including but not limited to NERC, FERC and DOE.
- Support development, implementation and maintenance of access and perimeter control operational procedures, conveying and verifying security requirements
- Support and maintain the protocols by which intrusions, or would-be intrusions, are deterred, detected, delayed, recorded, and the accompanying response.
- Participate in comprehensive physical security surveys of new (under construction) or as-built facilities.
- Support innovation, to include the use of AI technology, to strengthen our physical security systems.
- Support corporate badging efforts, as needed.
- Overnight travel of 25-30%, extended hours possible for project completion/support.
- Provide 24/7 on-call and/or on-site coverage to deliver immediate action for critical program functions.
- Other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or three years experience with integrated physical security systems preferably within the energy sector or critical infrastructure industries.
- Systems knowledge: ExacqVision Video platform, Tyco CCure Software House Access Control, Video Analytics, DMP Burglar Alarm Systems, other outdoor detection hardware
- Can demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with PC/desktop workstation: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, able to read CAD drawings and schematics
- Advanced Degree
- 5 years of experience with integrated physical security systems
- Certifications: Certifications: Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Access Control Administrator, Project Management Professional (PMP), or comparable industry designations
- Proficient in: ExacqVision Video platform, Tyco CCure Software House Access Control, Video Analytics, DMP Burglar Alarm Systems, other outdoor detection hardware.
