What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA position at Constellation Health Services?
Constellation Hospice is seeking a CNA for our Hospice Program!
The primary function of the (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant is to assist with personal care, to provide assistance and to work cooperatively with the patient and family. The Hospice Aide will be trained in appropriate and safe techniques for performing personal hygiene and grooming tasks that include bed bath, sponge bath, and shower bath, and hair shampooing in sink, tub, and bed. The services of a hospice aide are ordered by a physician and are given under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Qualifications:
· Must have successfully completed the CNA training and competency evaluation program approved by the state.
· CNA License must be active and in good standing.
· Must have a current driver's license and be willing to drive within an assigned territory.
· Must have reliable transportation.
· At least one year of experience and hospice and/or home health experience is strongly preferred.
· Basic knowledge of iOs operating system
