What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for School-Based Therapy position at Constellation Health Services?
Constellation ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to work with children on the autism spectrum providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming in the school-based setting in Greenwich.
This is a FULL-TIME position with benefits!
WHAT DOES A BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN DO?
- Implements one-on-one ABA program developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the client's school setting
- Assists clients with behavior, social and academic skills during the school day
- Collects and reports data for target behaviors to assigned BCBA supervisor
- Participates in behavior management programming for assigned clients
- Participates in school-led professional development and acts as a member of the school staff
- Participates in team building activities, meetings and ongoing training
WHAT IS REQUIRED?
- Experience working with children (preferably children with autism and/or special needs)
- Maintain a valid driver's license and own viable transportation
- Travel to and from assigned client schools
- RBT Certification
- Availability Monday-Friday during school hours
