Constellation Health Services is seeking a qualified and compassionate School Psychologist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments.
- Analyze assessment data and write comprehensive evaluation reports with clear recommendations.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist with the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students addressing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, social-emotional difficulties, and behavioral challenges.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and provide consultation to teachers and staff on effective classroom management strategies.
- Conduct crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, administrators, and other professionals (e.g., special education teachers, counselors, social workers) to create a supportive learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with families and provide guidance and support to parents on child development and parenting strategies.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Connecticut School Psychologist licensure.
- Strong knowledge of child development, learning theories, and behavioral interventions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school settings.
- The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build strong relationships with students, families, and staff.
- Preferred:
- Experience working in a school setting.
- Experience with diverse student populations.
- Knowledge of Connecticut special education regulations.
Salary : $55 - $70
