CSEngineering is looking to add an Airworthiness Engineer Support to our growing team!
Job Responsibilities
- Review and action Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins as to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare and review test plans, reports, and documentation to support the USAF and SOCOM in accordance with MIL-HDBK-516, Airworthiness Certification Criteria and MIL- STD 882, Standard Practice for System Safety.
- Provide Airworthiness Safety Release documents to support USAF and SOCOM in accordance with MIL-HDBK-516, Airworthiness Certification Criteria, and MIL-STD 882, Standard Practice for System Safety.
- Participate in or lead research and development projects to improve UAS design, performance, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, such as customers, suppliers, managers, engineers, technicians, pilots, regulators, and inspectors.
- Assist the Government in preparing responses to taskers from USAF staffs, units, and USSOCOM and/or its components regarding UAS, including assisting in preparation and delivery of technical papers and briefings.
- Provide feedback, guidance, and support to colleagues and partners.
Required Certifications And Qualifications
- A minimum BS degree in engineering, relevant work experience.
- In-depth knowledge of MIL-HDBK-516, Airworthiness Certification Criteria, and MIL-STD 882.
- Standard Practice for System Safety.
- Must be a United States Citizen
- Desired experience background in UAS operations.
