Senior Security Specialist

Job Description : Information Security Analyst - Plan, implement, and monitor security measures and policies for protecting critical DHS networks and sensitive data. Ensure that security controls comply with federal cybersecurity regulations and respond proactively to security breaches and policy deviations. Assist in developing security guidelines and procedures that support DHS cybersecurity compliance and audit initiatives.

Security Clearance : Secret

Years Experience : 7 or more years of experience in the responsibilities and tasks below.

Job Overview :

• Research, analyze, and implement cybersecurity measures to safeguard the DHS's digital infrastructure and critical information from potential threats.
• Assist in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with federal cybersecurity standards, including FISMA and other DHS-specific requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise to support the organization's cybersecurity policy enforcement, threat detection, and incident response activities.
• Regularly monitor, review, and audit security systems to ensure compliance with DHS security frameworks.
