This is an on-site role, located at our Pearl River, New York facility, with a Monday Friday standard schedule. Occasional overtime hours will be required, including some weekend work, for scheduled shutdowns and emergency coverage as needed.
Performs advanced technical / engineering problem solving in support of plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions and analyses. Knowledgeable in electrical, mechanical and control systems with regard to power plant operations. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and is knowledgeable of applicable industry codes and regulations. Capable of managing third-party service providers including contractors, consultants. Works well across functional lines of Operations, Technicians and Management.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with the maintenance and operations of large-scale facilities and centralized and distributed utility systems. Solid time management skills and the ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple projects and tasks with a high level of proficiency; acute attention to detail is required.
