We're seeking highly motivated engineering or related discipline students for Summer Internships to work on specific projects within our Power Team at LNG.
These paid internships last approximately 10 weeks and include working independently under an assigned supervisor and technical mentor on projects such as:
Investigating corrosion sources in water systems
Designing innovative options to repair water piping
Modifying liquid level instruments in pressure vessels
Conducting safety valve maintenance and inspection analysis
Installing wireless amp current meters
Aqueous copper removal pilot projects
We have various departments including Fleet Operations & Support, Engineering, Corporate Tech, Maintenance, Operations, and Hydroelectric.
The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled in one of the following programs:
Bachelor's or Master's in Business Administration, Data Scientist/Analytics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability & Energy, or related degrees
Associate in plant technology, Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation & Control Technology, or related degrees
Minimum qualifications include:
Minimum GPA: 2.8 Cumulative AND 3.0 Major
Track record of outstanding academic performance
Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
