POSITION SUMMARY

Constellis is hiring a Staff Accountant to be part of a dynamic and growing team located in Herndon, VA. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting, you will be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and preparing journal entries, including but not limited to liability accounts. Your work will be crucial in maintaining the financial health and accuracy that underpin Constellis' vital operations worldwide. Recent College graduates with a Bachelor degree in Accounting will be considered for this growth opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and prepare journal entries for liability accounts
- Manage payroll bank reconciliations
- Act as back-up support for ADP General Ledger support
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Assist with interim and year-end audits
- Participate in special projects as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required
- 1 plus years of accounting and financial operations experience required
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite and advanced skills in MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
- Problem-solving skills with an analytical thought process
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
