Position Summary:
Constitution Surgery Alliance (CSA) is currently seeking a strong Senior Vice President to oversee the operational aspects of the Company's healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic support and oversight for the overall relationship with key stakeholders.
- Work closely with medical leadership to align and integrate the ASC’s operations into CSA best practices or, where appropriate.
- Provide guidance, management expertise, close and coordinated communications, collaboration, and oversight for the surgery center leadership, payer contracting as appropriate, employee compensation structures, financial and operational performance, productivity, regulatory compliance, and recruitment initiatives.
- Coordinate with direct reports to ensure the appropriate scheduling, coordination, preparation, and efficient flow of Governing Body meetings, Medical Advisory Boards, and other critical meetings necessary for the effective management of the surgery center's operations.
- Accountable for financial and quality performance, market share growth, progress assessment, and evaluation activities for employed physician practices.
- Oversee the continuum of care, including direct-indirect and matrix relationships, and assess the impact of care for patients admitted for diagnostic or treatment services.
- Maintain daily presence at the SVP’s primary facility.
- Maintain daily engagement with and a frequent on-site presence at the SVP’s secondary facilities.
Travel Requirements:
- Remote position with domestic travel required, primarily on the East Coast.
- As a remote position, this role may be subject to standard work monitoring practices to ensure productivity and performance, including time tracking and activity logging tools
- Travel requirement up to 75%.
Experience:
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in healthcare management with knowledge of healthcare administration, finance, regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Expertise in ASC operations, staff recruitment, financial management, support for revenue cycle management, legal and regulatory standards as applicable to this role.
Education:
- BA/BS required
- MBA, MHA, MSM, or MSHA preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of productivity measures, and industry benchmarking.
- Understanding of contracts and contractual arrangements contained in company operating agreements, management agreements, service agreements, and others as affect the operations of the Center.
- Familiarity with laws and regulations governing physician-hospital business relationships.
- Knowledge of electronic health records, clinical decision support.
- Ability to manage complex problems and difficult situations.
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of individuals.
