ConstructionAgent, LLC seeks multiple experienced commercial Construction Superintendents to join our expanding field team. These are full-time salaried positions, Monday through Friday.
Construction Superintendent Job Responsibilities:
This position supports and assists the Project Manager by ensuring all work aligns with the plans, specifications, and other requirements. Observe the work performed by all parties to verify compliance. Conducts building surveys as requested to assess conditions and provide information for updating the files and cost center database. Ensures that on-site or off-site materials comply with the requirements and are included in the Contractor's application for payment. Audits the construction documentation to confirm that drawings and specifications are current and accurate. Ensures that end users, such as the Facility Engineering department, receive all necessary as-built drawings and documents, as evidenced by a Letter of Transmittal. The close-out documentation includes the following: O&M manual/warranties, the Civil Engineer's as-built survey and submission of the as-built site plan to the County, the County's final site inspection report, and the release of the bond, as well as the GC's record documents for the A/E. Performs job site inspections for construction and safety and documents the observations in daily reports. Will carry out additional duties as assigned.
Construction Superintendent Additional Requirements:
The qualifications for the position require at least one of the following: experience, certification, or education.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience with a commercial General/Prime, Mechanical, Plumbing, or Electrical Contractor in roles such as superintendent, foreman, QC Manager, or a similar position.
Certifications: A certification from the International Code Council and two years of experience in commercial inspection (Commercial Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or Fire Inspector) are mandatory.
Education: A minimum of an associate's degree or relevant experience in place of a degree (an additional five years of work experience with a Prime, Mechanical, Plumbing, or Electrical Contractor in a field leadership role, such as superintendent, foreman, or QC Manager).
Preferred:
- Five years of on-site commercial construction experience in a leadership role.
- ICC commercial certifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- OSHA-30 certification.
- Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification.
Required:
- Experience in commercial construction, preferably with healthcare projects.
- Experience in commercial inspection.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to learn and adapt. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds, climb a ladder, and enter tight spaces.
