We are currently seeking an experienced construction project manager to join our team. As a project manager, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction projects including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and progress is properly tracked
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications to ensure feasibility and adherence to codes and regulations
- Monitor on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, keeping all parties informed and updated on project status
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is being completed according to plans and specifications
- Evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective measures as necessary
- Prepare and submit progress reports, budget updates, and other documentation to management and clients
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize project outcomes
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and permits
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- OSHA certification preferred
