Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Advertising Sales Executive at the Construction Association of Michigan. The Sales Executive will be responsible for selling print advertisements in CAM Magazine, the Construction Buyers Guide, and the Great Lakes Design & Construction EXPO show program. Additionally, this role will involve selling digital ads on the Construction Buyers Guide website and in the CAM News Briefs, securing sponsorship for various events, and promoting membership with the association. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the construction industry. They will possess the ability to motivate and guide the sales team while managing their own sales portfolio.
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in media sales, including print and digital, preferably within the construction or related industry.
- Digital marketing knowledge and experience in key marketing solutions such as Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media, Reputation Management, Streaming or Programmatic and OTT, and more.
- A creative mind to put together unique campaigns focused on solving client needs.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
