Position Overview :
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of pre-engineered metal building projects from awarded project to delivery and erection. This role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and project management expertise to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Coordination :
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.Coordinate with engineering, design, fabrication, procurement, and erection teams to ensure seamless project execution.Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.Develop Schedule of Values, (SOV’s) as requiredClient Management :
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and managing expectations.Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and quality delivery.Budget and Cost Management :
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.Monitor project expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage change orders.Approve and process invoices, ensuring alignment with budget and contractual agreements.Scheduling and Time Management :
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases.Identify potential delays or bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.Quality Assurance and Compliance :
Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards in fabrication and erection processes.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance and address any issues promptly.Team Leadership and Development :
Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance-related issues.Collaborative team environment with cross-functional interactions.Risk Management :
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.Monitor project progress to proactively address any emerging risks or challenges.Ensure all safety protocols are followed to minimize accidents and incidents on site.Reporting and Documentation :
Prepare regular project status reports for senior management and stakeholders.Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and correspondence.Utilize project management software to track progress and manage project data effectively.Required Qualifications :
High School Diploma / GEDMinimum three (3) years in a Project Manager roleStrong knowledge of pre-engineered metal building systems, fabrication processes, and erection techniques.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.Ability to visit and work on various construction sites which may necessitate exposure to various weather conditions.Must have the ability to walk, stand, stoop, crouch, squat, bend over, climb and lift at least 50 lbs.Must be a U.S. citizen. Candidates who are familiar with (e.g., MBS, Bluebeam, Procore, Tekla -3D / BIM Models, Smartsheet’s,), and MS Office Suite.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
