What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ground Up Construction Superintendent position at Construction Concepts, Inc?
Construction Concepts, Inc is a growing and dynamic design build commercial general contractor located in Longmont, CO. CCI’s projects range from 500K to 15MM in size, and our target markets consist of commercial ground up, industrial, and retail facilities. CCI also specializes in and is an authorized dealer of Chief Metal Buildings. Project locations range from south Denver, north to Wyoming, and east to Fort Lupton. Project types consist of civil, PEMBs, tilt-up concrete, wood frame, structural steel, and masonry; and include ground up, tenant finish, renovations, and additions. Construction Concepts has a team-oriented culture in which all staff work hard to support the success of their teammates as much as they do themselves.
The Superintendent is responsible for all aspects of jobsite management including staffing, scheduling and business partner/subcontractor relations. The Superintendent effectively oversees project from ground-breaking through completion. The successful candidate will have extensive industry experience that demonstrates excellent understanding of the unique needs and requirements of clients, projects, departments and systems.
Essential Functions:
1. Professionally represents Construction Concepts Inc.
2. Demonstrates strong knowledge of commercial construction and jobsite management skills.
3. Promote and maintain relationships with subcontractors and clients.
4. Delivers on time product while maintaining focus on safety, quality and budget.
5. Fully understand and utilize drawings, specifications, subcontract agreements and purchase orders.
6. Strong plan reading skills.
7. Oversee self-performed activities.
8. Responsible for creating and maintaining site logistics.
9. Assumes primary responsibilities for leading, implementing and enforcing jobsite safety requirements.
10. Maintains all site documentation in an organized fashion.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Three to five (3-5) years practical leadership experience in commercial construction; Strong background in small size to mid-scale construction (up to 20 million)
2. Verifiable work history/references.
3. Has a current 30 hour (preferred) or 10-hour OSHA certification.
4. Must have valid US drivers license.
5. Prefer SWMP experience using BMP’s

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
