Construction Management and Development, Inc. (CMD) is currently seeking a talented individual to join its New York office as Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in a construction and/or real estate development environment, with strong financial modeling skills which include integrated project budgeting, monthly cashflows, sources and uses of funds, revenue projections, capital stack, debt structure and investor returns. Additional analytic experience with developing hospitality and health care, including analyzing data and providing forecasting support, projections, service lines, billing, etc. is preferred. The Financial Analyst will provide analysis and financial support on key projects, and to project managers and the executive team as needed.

- Prepare conceptual cost models, budgets and feasibility models based on historic cost data and/or subcontractor input as appropriate.
- Analyze, monitor, and prepare cost exposure reports and cash flow projections with sources and uses of funds, revenue projections, capital stack, debt structure and investor return, maintaining comprehensive budgets
- Understand the principles and methodology of construction cost estimating from a consulting estimating perspective.
- Prepare accurate construction and project cost estimates from conceptual design through completion of construction documents.
- Prepare detailed conceptual cost studies from schematic or feasibilitylevel documentation.
- Utilize and manage inhouse historical cost data to financial models.
- Provide complex problemsolving skills to resolve construction budget and finance related issues.
- Assist the Project Managers and Executive Team in preparing bid packages for key projects.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration or construction management is required.
- 510 years demonstrated experience financial modeling in a construction and/or real estate development environment
- Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written; able to receive, understand and send communications which can be shared with others through writing, typing, and video presentation
- Must be computer literate and with high proficiency in MS Office365, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, and proficiency with accounting software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and have excellent followup skills both internally and externally
