Job Title: Reinforcing Steel Detailer

Construction Materials, Inc. provides detailed reinforcing steel and concrete form drawings by utilizing the latest CAD software. We manufacture and supply high quality paving products such as dowel bar assemblies, metal keyway, loose dowels, reinforcing steel products and paving forms.

Job Description

• This position requires the ability to produce detailed drawings of reinforcing steel for shop

fabrication and the contractors use at project job sites. Responsibilities include the supervision of bending reinforcing steel to the exact measurement and angles that are required & overseeing shearing of reinforcing steel per shop fabrication bar lists.

• The rebar detailer is a full-time position and requires the following qualifications:
• Ability to read and interpret Architectural and Structural Drawings.
• Experience with the use of CAD Systems
• Able to provide good customer service to a variety of contractors and engineers.
• Computer skills for data entry of material lists for shop fabrications.

• Other qualifications necessary for this position:

1. Good communication, math and organizational skills.

2. The ability to handle detailed projects.

3. Maintaining good working relationships with other employees and customers.
