Position Overview:

Construction Mechanics Inc. is seeking experienced Carpenters for projects in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This is a great opportunity for skilled professionals to work on commercial and residential construction projects. The ideal candidates will have experience with framing, trim work, rough carpentry, and finish carpentry, with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and assemble wood, metal, and other materials according to project specifications
• Install framing, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other structural components
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans
• Perform finishing work, including trim, molding, and other detailed carpentry
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Ensure all work meets building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience in commercial or residential construction
• Proficiency in framing, rough carpentry, and finish work
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings
• Must have reliable transportation and basic hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay range: $20 - $30 per hour, depending on experience
