We are looking for a full time Heavy Equipment Mechanic for work in Harden, OH. Looking for someone who has 5 year of experience and can work independently.
Job Responsibilities:
Inspection and Diagnosis:
- Inspect equipment for mechanical issues, perform diagnostic tests, and determine the necessary repairs.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex machinery malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire checks.
Repairs and Maintenance:
- Repair or replace defective parts such as engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Weld or fabricate parts as needed to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Maintain equipment and machinery, including cranes, bulldozers, backhoes, and excavators, to ensure safety and reliability.
Recordkeeping:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and any replacement parts used.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines for all repairs and service tasks.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols, including using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to OSHA regulations.
- Ensure that all equipment meets regulatory compliance standards.
