Responsibilities:
As a Lead Residential Construction Worker, you will:
- Supervise and lead construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Manage project schedules, meet deadlines, and ensure adherence to client specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction activities and ensure accuracy.
- Perform skilled tasks such as:
- Laying tile and installing custom showers.
- Cabinetry work, including fabrication and installation.
- Basic plumbing and electrical work.
- Drywall installation, finishing, and repair.
- Flooring installation (hardwood, laminate, tile, etc.).
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain safety standards and promote a safe work environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in residential construction, with a focus on leading teams and managing projects.
- Expertise in tile work, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and flooring.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical ability to perform construction tasks and work in various conditions.
