The Design Center Operations Manager is a professional and friendly individual responsible for providing excellent customer service to visitors, clients, and employees while managing administrative tasks efficiently.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, clients, and employees as they arrive at the Design Center in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assist clients with checking in.
- Provide beverages and snacks to clients that are waiting in the reception area.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate individuals or departments as needed.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and always welcoming.
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and escalate issues to the appropriate department or manager when necessary.
- Assist with appointment management within the CRM (Salesforce).
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Assist with processing paperwork for designers when available.
- Update and maintain customer records, contact information, and other relevant data in the company's database or CRM system.
- Assist with sample inventory management tasks, including receiving and inspecting incoming samples, tagging, and labeling inventory, and updating inventory records.
- Assist with ensuring the regular stock of beverages and snacks as well as other office supplies.
- Monitor access to the Design Center and ensure that all visitors sign in.
- Report any safety or security concerns to management immediately and onsite security.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience in the construction industry.
- Previous experience in receptionist or customer service role.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
- Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc....).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 to 6 years’ additional education or training in office administration or customer service.
- Previous experience in receptionist, office management or customer service role.

WORK LOCATION
Onsite – In order to fulfill responsibilities of the Design Center Operations Manager position, this job is required to work in a specific Construction Resources manufacturing, production, or office environment.

POSTION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position that requires occasional weekend hours. One day off will be given in the following week after working Saturday shifts.
