Our client, a respected leader in demolition and environmental cleanup services, is confidentially seeking a skilled and motivated Demolition Estimator/Project Manager for their Lansing, MI location. Job Overview: The Demolition Estimator/Project Manager will bid and manage demolition and cleanup for whole building and selective building demolition, Industrial, commercial and structural projects.
This is an in-office role with site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contractor review, subcontractor and material procurement assist in coordinating crews, estimating and project managing and billing.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and local regulations.
- Review proposals, budgets, and change orders.
Requirements:
5 years estimating/project management experience in whole building demolition (environmental soil and water cleanup experience is a plus).
- Knowledge of demolition techniques, safety standards, and hazardous material handling.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, lead teams, and stay within budget.
- Experience working with high reach cranes and excavators or wrecking ball or implosion with explosives or selective demo.
- OSHA 30-Hour and environmental certifications (HAZWOPER) preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with Trimble Vista-Viewpoint/Bid 2 win is a plus.
