$150.00 Per Diem offered, if eligible
$400.00 Travel Pay
1 Weeks Lodging paid by Construction Services
Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the outfitting operations in a shipyard. This includes managing a team of outfitters and ensuring that all outfitting tasks, such as the installation of equipment and furnishings in ships, are completed according to specifications, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the outfitting team.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage schedules and deadlines for outfitting projects.
- Oversee the installation of equipment and furnishings in ships.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Train and mentor new staff members.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in shipyard operations, specifically in outfitting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience: in shipyards with shipbuilding production or ship repair.
