Role Responsibilities

As the Office and Executive Manager of Construction Simplified, you will be responsible for supporting daily office operations, executive leadership, and administrative tasks to ensure efficiency and organization within the company. This role is central to maintaining effective office processes, coordinating schedules, and enhancing overall business operations.


This is a full-time, in-office role based at our beautiful Grand Rapids office. The responsibilities of this position require an on-site presence, not only for operational effectiveness, but because our work in construction is fully present and team-driven. Collaboration, real-time decision-making, and cultural alignment happen best when we’re together. Being in the seat, with the team, is how we build both great projects and a great company.


With great personal and professional achievement in this role, while ensuring alignment of our strategic business goals, the team at Construction Simplified is confident that we can expand our West Michigan success into a sought after and high performing business at any locale.


Administrative and Executive Support:

  • Provide day-to-day support to executive leadership, including scheduling, communication, and document preparation
  • Manage executive calendars and coordinate internal and external meetings
  • Draft, review, and manage correspondence, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
  • Anticipate leadership needs and proactively support task follow-through
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders


Office Leadership & Operations:

  • Oversee office operations, including supplies, vendor relationships, and facility coordination
  • Support onboarding for new hires and maintain employee documentation
  • Improve and maintain systems, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency
  • Ensure the office environment reflects Construction Simplified's professional, high-performing culture


Team, Culture & Events:

  • Coordinate internal events, team-building activities, and office celebrations
  • Support team recognition efforts and culture-based initiatives
  • Serve as a positive presence and resource for day-to-day team needs
  • Actively contribute to our team culture through thoughtful hosting, event planning, and daily interactions that reinforce our values


Experience Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in office management, executive support, or team coordination roles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, calendar systems, and internal communication tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize across multiple responsibilities
  • Confident problem-solver with a proactive mindset and calm under pressure
  • Construction, architecture, or real estate industry experience is a strong plus, but not required
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-accountability team culture focused on growth, collaboration, and simplicity
