Primary Responsibilities
- Create and administer Revit models and shop drawings from architectural and structural plans that will be used by project personnel for the erection of concrete forming systems.
- Conduct structural analysis on concrete forming systems and generate calculation packages.
- Monitor design application to guide proper implementation in the field.
- Ensure the most efficient, safe, and economical form systems are incorporated into the project design.
- Stays abreast of innovative developments and incorporates these advancements in the development and design of new forming systems / equipment.
- Troubleshoots and resolves concerns regarding structural design with the project team.
- Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related engineering degree.
- Advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to effectively work with all levels of the organization.
- Expertise with reading structural drawings and performing computer-aided design utilizing formwork engineering methods, such as BIM Modeling.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) license, required.
