Commercial Construction Superintendent (Traveling Superintendent) Must Travel
We are currently looking for a Construction Superintendent new construction/ground up and remodel experience that is willing to travel. Extensive superintendent experience in the commercial industry is preferred. Ideal candidates will be able to commute or live in close proximity to our office. This individual must understand the project is priority and will do whatever it takes to get the project completed on schedule. This Superintendent will oversee the daily construction activities at the work site, including coordination with clients, scheduling of workers and subcontractors, delivery of equipment and materials, and progress of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Work with subcontractors to ensure completion of the project within the given budget and time frame.
- Conducts inventories of materials, anticipates needs and requirements and continually coordinates with the Project Manager for uninterrupted flow of materials to maintain the work schedule.
- Permit supervision including scheduling inspections and meeting with inspectors on site.
- Acts to implement and enforce safety measures and report all safety violations to the Project Manager.
- Solves Problems within his authority and when necessary works with other employees to accomplish needed tasks.
- Makes quick, accurate decisions when necessary, within his authority and takes responsibility for decisions.
- Responsible for weekly production reports, time cards and other records to turn into the office.- Maintains a good operating relationship with the other employees, material suppliers, clients, and the general public.
Requirements:
- Ground Up experience in commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability is essential.
- Strong computer skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Extensive travel is required.
- Must be willing to work nights.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
