About the Position:
CTS is currently looking for an entry to mid-level Civil Engineer to join our growing team in our Sacramento Area office due to our increase in workload.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Possession of an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license in Civil Engineering from the California Board of Civil Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
- Experience in at least some of the following tasks preferred, but not required:
Materials Testing and Special Inspection
Geotechnical Engineering Investigations
Construction Management
Construction
- Ability to work both independently and in groups
- Willingness to learn and expand technical knowledge
Responsibilities:
- Review project Plans and Specifications
- Review inspectors’ Daily Field Reports
- Perform and review laboratory testing
- Perform field testing and inspections
- Communicate with clients
- Provide project deliverables
- Provide technical support for field technicians
- Perform Structural Investigations
- Perform Geotechnical Investigations
- Learn and apply applicable test methods and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
