Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This position involves physical labor and requires an individual who is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist heavy equipment operators and foreman with project tasks.
• Perform manual labor, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Operate small equipment and tools as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with the construction team to complete projects on time.
• Transport materials and tools within the construction site.
• Document work activities and report incidents as necessary.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a construction labor role is a plus.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous manual labor.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to various construction tasks.
• Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment.
• Adherence to safety regulations and protocols.
• Understanding of OSHA standards related to safety is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.12 - $19.98 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
