Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and enhance the operational efficiency between sales, operations, and technology. This role develops and executes comprehensive sales strategies, evaluates operational processes, cultivates client and partner relationships, and ensures the alignment of business development initiatives with organizational goals.

This position partners with cross-functional teams to ensure sales and process initiatives are integrated, including aligning broker and sales training programs with Six Sigma methodologies. Additionally, this role collaborates with senior leadership to identify market opportunities, establish sales targets and performance metrics, and implement innovative solutions that enhance the company’s market position.

What you will do for Constructive Capital:

  • Drive and implement process enhancements that optimize operational efficiency and maximize sales productivity
  • Oversee sales operations, including communication processes and sales reporting
  • Serve as a liaison between brokers and the secondary markets team to address pricing and market-related inquiries
  • Collaborate with the secondary markets team to update and distribute rates sheets accurately and timely
  • Create comprehensive SOPs for internal and external stakeholders ensuring clarity and compliance
  • Review and enhance existing operational guidelines to ensure information is relevant and up to date
  • Develop internal and external content including operational updates, training materials and marketing collateral, maintaining consistent branding across all communications
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate brokers on submission platforms, products, processes, compliance standards, market trends, rate sheets and operational updates
  • Train the sales team on Six Sigma methodologies and apply these principles to sales processes in order to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies and improve overall performance
  • Serve as the sales operations representative during the development and implementation of new technology tools and platforms and assist with user experience improvement initiatives, including process mapping and the execution of IT projects
  • Lead team projects and initiatives to include Portal and LOS enhancements, broker training and development, and loan products and program enhancements
  • Develop domain knowledge of Fay’s business to include an understanding of short-term goals and long-term strategies for the organization
  • Lead with broad influence through ongoing development of relationships across the organization
  • Ensure compliance with Fay’s policies, processes and practices to include successful completion of all department and company required training
  • Ensure audit and control processes are implemented, regularly assessed, current and followed
  • Role model ethical standards, professionalism and code of conduct
  • Ensure demonstrated behaviors of both self and team align with Fay's Values and Operating Principles
  • Maintain a current working knowledge of federal, state and local regulatory requirements; ensure audit and control processes are current and followed in compliance with federal/ state requirements
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What you will bring to Constructive Capital: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management or related field
  • 10 years’ experience in commercial or residential mortgage lending, business purpose lending or related function
  • 5 years’ experience managing people and leading teams
  • Proven experience with broker training, process improvements and the development of operational guidelines
  • Familiarity with secondary markets, rate sheet creation, design optimization and management
  • Prior experience in IT project support, including process mapping and user experience design
  • Proficiency in sales reporting tools, including LOS, Encompass and CRM systems
  • Strong knowledge of Six Sigma principles, certification preferred
  • Strong skills and experience in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization to influence and drive required results
  • Effective management skills to include talent selection, training, coaching, mentorship and performance management
  • Strength of leadership with proven ability to foster an environment of positive employee engagement and trust
