Project Engineer

Constructors Hawaii Inc. is seeking candidates to join our team. We have been one of Hawaii’s top general contractors for over 50 years because of our reputation for workmanship, attention to detail, and bringing the best teams together.

Responsibilities:

• Manage submittals, RFIs, subcontracts, purchase orders, billings, change orders, and documentation for projects from award to turnover.
• Attend and participate in OAC meetings.
• Review and maintain CPM schedules.
• Facilitate communication between the field and the architects and owners.
• Manage project budgets.
• Estimate and prepare bid packages.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architectural, or construction management.
• 5 years of experience, preferably in commercial construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive with problem solving and safety issues.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam and Microsoft Projects preferred.
• Hawaii resident with valid driver’s license.
