Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage nursing staff to ensure the highest quality resident care on your unit.
- Support and mentor staff through development opportunities and training.
- Provide direct resident care, adhering to personalized treatment plans.
- Supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' medical statuses and update care plans as needed.
- Play a key role in recruitment, hiring, and staffing schedules to maintain adequate coverage.
- Ensure that resident rights policies are followed and collaborate with families to address any concerns or grievances.
- Complete Preceptor Training to guide and support new team members.
- Lead and contribute innovative ideas to improve systems and processes, creating a more effective and efficient healthcare environment.
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered state license as an RN or LPN.
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience (preferably in a similar healthcare setting), with at least 1 year in nursing administration.
- Strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering excellent care to residents.
- Compassionate, dedicated, and driven to help build a positive team culture.
