Job Title: Renewable Investment Banking Associate

Company Overview:

I'm partnered with a global Investment Bank specializing in renewable energy projects and sustainable infrastructure. Together we are seeking a motivated Associate to join their Energy Transition team, the candidate will work across both Latin American and North American markets to support origination, structuring, and advisory for renewable energy transactions.

Position Overview:

The Associate will be responsible for supporting origination, execution & structuring of renewable energy transactions, including wind, solar, and storage. This role involves collaboration with both Latin American and North American teams, engaging with clients and developers to drive business development and provide strategic financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Origination: Supporting efforts in Identifying and develop new business opportunities in renewable energy across Latin America and North America, building relationships with clients, developers, and investors.
• Structuring: Supporting transaction structuring, financial modeling, and due diligence for deals spanning both regions, providing tailored solutions to clients.
• Advisory: Offer strategic advice on M&A and financing opportunities, staying abreast of market trends and regulatory developments in both markets.
• Support senior bankers in preparing pitch materials, client presentations, and executing transactions.
• Collaborate across teams, sharing insights and knowledge of the Latin American and North American renewable energy landscapes.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of investment banking experience, ideally in renewable energy or sustainable finance.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken)
• Strong knowledge of renewable energy markets and financing structures in both regions.
