Risk Manager - Power Trading I NYC I $165-200,000 Bonus

The Role:
Responsible for monitoring new and existing trading positions, including trade control and review/execution on confirmations. The role will also involve the calculation of risk metrics, creation and distribution of risk reporting, and development of risk reporting templates.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- 5 years power trading expertise
- Deep understanding of VaR calculations and the impact market changes and volatility can have on pricing positions
- Strong programming experience - SQL, Python, R etc.
- Must be willing to be hands-on in analysis and programming, willing to act as player/coach
- Knowledge of ETRM systems and deal flow
Ideal Requirements:
- Experience in US Retail Power
- Line management experience
