Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Phone Operator to join our team. The Phone Operator will be responsible for handling a large volume of incoming calls, accessing patient charts, scheduling appointments, assisting in medical records, and providing excellent customer service in a medical office setting.
Duties:
- Answer and manage incoming calls promptly and professionally
- Schedule appointments accurately using Athena
- Assist callers with inquiries and provide information about services
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information
- Transfer calls to appropriate personnel
- Update and maintain medical records as necessary
- indexing and faxing medical records
Requirements:
- Proficiency in phone systems and handling multiple lines
- Familiarity with medical records, medical terminology, and medical office procedures is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a pleasant phone manner
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

**TRAINING FOR THIS POSITION WILL BE AT OUR HARTFORD LOCATION FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS UPON HIRE** MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL FOR TRAINING**

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
