Position Title: Software Engineer Lead

Position Location: Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote

• 1st preference: Pittsburgh, PA
• 2nd preference: Cleveland, OH
• 3rd preference: Columbus, OH

Additional Team Information:

• Function of the Group: Sanction Screening
• Initiatives/Projects: Critical CTB developer for RTS Cloud Native migration
• Industry background: Banking / FINTECH Crime required
• Team Dynamic: Team consists of 20 members

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.
• Advise customer about, or perform, maintenance of software system.
• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.
• Inform customers or other departments on project status, proposals and technical issues such as software system design and maintenance.
• Direct software programming and development of documentation.

Must Have Technical Skills: 8yrs

• Kafka & event driven systems - Proficient in Kafka producer and consumer API , Kafka Streams, Schema registry, topic partitioning and performance tuning - MUST have
• API & Microservices Development - Expertise in Rest APIs and event driven microservices using spring boot, Note.js or similar frameworks - Must Have
• Experience with Jenkins, Git Ansible , log monitoring , Kafka security

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

• Unix and Scripting - Strong command of Unix/Linux environments including shell scripting and performance monitoring - desirable
• SQL and Data management - Experience with SQl and optimization in Oracle - desirable
