Job Description
Our client is looking for a Vulnerability Analyst to add to the team. The individual will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing patches, updated environments, and scheduled outage/change management. Will also evaluate vendor patches for inclusion in the network environment continuously. The individual will partner with other IT departments on the execution, maintenance, and improvement of day-to-day patch management and vulnerability remediation activities.

Job Description
Our client is looking for a Vulnerability Analyst to add to the team. The individual will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing patches, updated environments, and scheduled outage/change management. Will also evaluate vendor patches for inclusion in the network environment continuously. The individual will partner with other IT departments on the execution, maintenance, and improvement of day-to-day patch management and vulnerability remediation activities.
Required Skills
- 8 years of network administration experience in a Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto environment
- In-depth, working knowledge of Microsoft platform (e.g.; Server, Workstation), multiple Linux distros, virtual machines, Java, Adobe, Web Applications, WebSphere, networking concepts
- Vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys) is a must have
- Splunk experience
- 5 years' experience working in an information security, information technology, or information risk management-related field
- 2 years' experience with a patching utility (Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Wireless, ect)
- Patch management and vulnerability remediation, or other security-related fields
- Understanding and experience in identifying and patching vulnerabilities
- Knowledge of system testing metrics
- Service Now experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Security certifications such as Security , CISSP, and CCNP would be nice to have
- Experience in Project Management
- Scripting (Python, Perl, ect)
- Able to effectively work independently and in a team environment, with staff at all levels
