Senior Account Executive
Vienna, VA

$200-$240K OTE


Responsible for prospecting new enterprise accounts and expanding relationships with current enterprise-level commercial clients. This position requires a strategic sales leader capable of navigating complex sales cycles, fostering strong client partnerships, and driving revenue growth in large organizations. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in selling technology solutions and consulting services to C-suite executives and senior decision-makers. This role demands exceptional leadership and client management expertise, coupled with a deep understanding of the enterprise market landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for acquiring and growing enterprise-level accounts.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing high-value deals.

  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.

  • Conduct market research to refine sales strategies based on trends and customer needs.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client specifications are met.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process.

  • Track KPIs and sales metrics to exceed targets.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.

  • Use CRM software to manage the pipeline and generate reports.

  • Proactively acquire new clients and expand the customer base.

Technical Expertise and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and communicate the company's products and their application to clients.

  • Explain complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Work with technical teams to address client needs and ensure compliance.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitors.

  • Security clearance preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of enterprise sales experience, with 2 years in a senior sales role.

  • Experience selling IT solutions (datacenter, infrastructure, cybersecurity, etc.) or enterprise technology such as hardware.

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

  • Experience selling to senior executives and decision-makers.

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.

  • Knowledge of enterprise technology trends and business optimization.

  • VAR experience preferred.
  • Security clearance preferred.
