ARGO Software Engineer IV
Remote (CST)
8-month contract
Pay Rate: $65.00 to $70.00 per hr.
Our client is seeking an ARGO Software Engineer with experience in ARGO Teller (Transact). This is a remote role, but candidates must be able to work within the Central Standard Time zone. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the ARGO banking platform, with a focus on teller solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversees the development and installation of new hardware and software
- Provides advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques required for improved work operations
- Installs and configure systems and other software
- Tests installed software for malfunction detection
- Identifies and resolves business systems issues
- Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems
- Measures the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems
- Develops and implements strategies to improve systems
- Monitors and tests system performance
- Oversees the training of junior engineers to improve job skills and work efficiency
- Typically has full ownership of a process
- May act as a procedural expert
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- 8 years of development experience
- 5 years of ARGO banking platform (ARGO DATA) experience is required
- 5 years of ARGO experience in Teller (Transact) required
- Experience with Argo Data thick client teller application
- Experience in developing interfaces for the ARGO Teller platform
- Data application experience

- SQL Server (how to write SQL queries)
