Location: Southeast Region
Are you a hands-on leader with a strong background in construction and safety? We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to help manage project sites across the Southeast region. This role focuses on ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and coordinating site activities for projects in commercial, retail, multi-family, and municipal construction.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in leading on-site operations and fostering strong working relationships.
- Support the implementation of contract requirements and site procedures.
- Develop and enforce Site Logistics and Safety Plans.
- Organize preconstruction meetings and conduct weekly safety meetings.
- Monitor subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain and track project schedules, providing updates to the Project Manager.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Extensive construction industry experience (hands-on experience in carpentry or similar trades is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and ComputerEase.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
- Valid driver's license and CPR/AED certification.
- Completion of 30-hour OSHA training (LEED AP training is a plus).
- Frequent travel within the Southeast region to various project sites.
- Exposure to various weather conditions and construction site elements.
- Moderate noise levels, with occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
