Job Description:
The Cloud Architect will support the Cloud Security Architecture team by contributing to the design and documentation of secure cloud solutions across enterprise environments. While not focused on hands-on implementation of Sentinel policies or Service Control Policies (SCPs), this role requires a strong understanding of how these policies function, along with broad knowledge of cloud security principles and architectural best practices.
This position serves as a strategic front door to the Cloud Security Architecture team, helping define the security posture for new services, contributing to architectural documentation, and collaborating closely with teams across IAM, Network Security, and Data Protection. Experience with Kubernetes environments and architectural decision records (ADRs) is essential.
Required Skills:
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles
• Familiarity with Sentinel policies, SCPs, and their role in cloud governance
• Experience working with or across IAM, Network Security, and Data Protection teams
• Proficiency with Kubernetes environments
• Strong technical writing skills, including architectural documentation and design patterns
• Ability to evaluate cloud services and determine necessary security controls
• Experience with AWS or GCP
- Extensive experience within the Financial Services industry
