Job Description:

Our financial services client is looking for some immediate Maternity leave coverage for the next 3-6 months on the Data Operations team. This person will be responsible for entering internal information supplied by other departments into the company's computer system, completing daily processing tasks in a timely manner, following all quality assurance processes and procedures, and other duties as required. Experience working within a financial services organization is highly preferred!

The role involves comparing cardholder data between the application, production system, and credit system to ensure accuracy. Responsibilities include processing various payment types such as debit cards, paper checks, and online payments. The position also requires importing payment files, managing payment images, and addressing any payment errors that arise. Additionally, the job entails performing repetitive data entry tasks with a focus on minimizing mistakes.

Required Skills:

• 2 years of experience in a Data Entry or Data Operations role
• Proficient computer and typing skills, specifically Microsoft office programs
• Ability to work with multiple software applications/screens simultaneously
• Understand basic accounting principles of debits and credits
• Understanding of how a checking account works
• Understanding accounting principles of debits and credits

• Experience working in a financial services company specifically working with payment processing
• Must be able to prioritize, organize and complete tasks efficiently
• Ability to process reports and follow daily run sheets
• High school Diploma or GED equivalent required
