Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize DevOps practices across AWS and Azure platforms, ensuring system scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with various teams to develop and execute a comprehensive DevOps strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
- Keep updated with industry developments and integrate emerging technologies to ensure our DevOps operations are at the forefront.
- Oversee the continuous integration and deployment of applications and services across cloud platforms.
- Develop and maintain automation processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement stringent security protocols and compliance standards within the DevOps environment.
- Perform regular audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential security threats.
- Monitor resource utilization in DevOps environments to optimize costs.
- Formulate and execute strategies for managing and reducing DevOps-related expenses.
- Lead, mentor, and cultivate a collaborative and innovative culture within the DevOps team.
- Provide advanced technical support for complex issues and collaborate with other IT teams for cross-functional problem resolution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps Engineering role or similar capacity.
- Proven experience as a team lead or in a supervisory role with a focus on DevOps.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
- Demonstrated ability in Scripting languages.
- Experience with GitLab CI is essential.
- Proficiency in using Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to meet project deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications would be an advantage.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
