What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fullstack Java Developer (Security) position at ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions?
ConsultNet is seeking a seasoned Java Developer. You'll be part of a team that is creating internal tools for our clients cyber security team. You'll work collaboratively with stakeholders following an agile process to produce working software that delights our customers.
Responsibilities:
- produce software/products in agile software development settings;
- collaboratively work with stake holders, developers, testers;
- deliver software with regular cadence;
- write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- help users/customers get the most of the software delivered.
Qualifications:
- must have at least 8-10 years of software development experience;
- demonstrable ability in breaking down complex problems and generating solutions;
- effective in leveraging frameowrks such as Spring, Hibernate, etc;
- experience developing RESTful services in Java, Spring and related technologies;
- proficient in SQL;
- experience leveraging AWS technologies; familiarity with Azure, GCP or other cloud technologies;
- experience developing single-page apps in JavaScript/TypeScript using frameworks such as React, Angular, Svelte etc.;
- experience with test framworks/libraries, and testing methodlogies;
- experience with DevOps tools and processes;
- familiarity with CyberSecurity concepts;
- BS in CompSci or a STEM field, or demonstrable understanding of CS concepts - ex. data structures and algorithms.
