Pay Range: $50.00 - $60.00per hr. / Salary Target: $105K - $120K
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer who will be responsible for managing and enhancing IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and deployment processes. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft system engineering, Azure DevOps, Hyper-V, and network management. The Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer will collaborate with key stakeholders, contribute throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and ensure a secure, high-performance, and scalable technology environment. This position calls for a proactive problem-solver who can efficiently diagnose and resolve technical challenges while working with cross-functional teams. You will play a vital role in maintaining business continuity, ensuring security, and driving operational efficiency across the organization's enterprise systems. This role requires the person to be onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week.
Required Skills:
- 10 years of experience in System Engineering, Network Administration, or related roles.
- In-depth expertise in Microsoft Administration and Engineering, Azure Administrator.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory, O365, and SQL Server administration.
- Extensive experience with Hyper-V for managing virtualized environments, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud automation.
- Experience in managing network security, backups, and firewalls.
Bonus/Soft Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure DevOps Engineer are preferred.
