Systems Engineer
Calabasas, CA- 3 days onsite 2 days remote

115,000-$130,000 year
Immediate hire for a Systems Engineer that will participate in infrastructure planning : design and implement enterprise-class systems infrastructure for critical applications across a global environment. Develop continuous improvement strategies for Corporate and all company location services. Troubleshoot and Partner with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues, provide root cause analysis and solutions for continuous improvement. Monitor and Optimize. Oversee proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance analysis for server, cloud, and storage environments. Work with team and management to Develop Technology Roadmaps : Create short- and long-term plans for systems engineering and present proposals to senior leadership. Act as Level 3 support for escalations and provide training to junior staff. Maintain Compliance, ensure systems meet security standards, including PCI and SOX compliance, and maintain clear, up-to-date systems documentation.
Requirements :
- 6 years of Systems Engineering experience with Windows Server (2008 / 2012 / 2016) in VMware, Active Directory, and core infrastructure (e.g., PKI, Okta, SAML).
- Experience in AWS or Azure
- Proficiency in systems automation (PowerShell, Shell Scripting) and management tools like SCCM and Solarwinds.
- Networking Knowledge in DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and Firewalls, with experience in VMware NSX as a plus.
- Expertise in Microsoft Intune and Azure AD for mobile app management and Office 365.
- Excellent communication skills
- What we prefer : Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience with multi-cloud and hyper-converged platforms, along with SCCM, Puppet, Chef, and vCloud Automation.
Salary : $115,000 - $130,000
