Position Title : IT Applications Manager - Oracle Fusion Finance
Overview :
This role leads the management and support of applications used by the Finance team for business operations, with a primary focus on Oracle Fusion Financials and Oracle EPM. The position oversees system architecture, maintenance, deployment, and enhancement while driving operational efficiency through a combination of onshore and offshore resources. This individual will manage a team of analysts and developers, ensure adherence to IT and security standards, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives. Collaboration with cross-functional IT and business partners is a key aspect of the role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and inspire a team of analysts and developers skilled in finance applications, including Oracle Fusion Financials and EPM.
- Develop a deep understanding of finance business processes and data workflows.
- Analyze objectives and requirements to guide teams in solution design and implementation.
- Create and execute detailed implementation plans for approved solutions.
- Manage the full lifecycle of small to medium-sized projects or system enhancements following standard SDLC processes.
- Oversee production and operational support for finance applications, leveraging internal teams or managed service partners.
- Collaborate across IT and business functions to execute support and enhancement activities effectively.
- Define and enforce design principles aligned with IT and security standards, ensuring governance and compliance.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of application configuration, integration, and associated functionality.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of patches, updates, and recovery strategies.
- Plan and prioritize development and enhancement requests in collaboration with stakeholders, guiding team members toward successful outcomes.
